Join us for this training day to work on your own alignment AND to gain training and tools to run 121 Alignments and Group Alignments for your own clients.
You’ll finish the day with a good start on your own 5-year vision-orbit business plan on a single sheet, an 18 month banner with post-it notes of your key actions (ready to turn into a 90-day each quarter plan separately), and a clear idea of your own business direction and priorities. During the process, we’ll give you a clear agenda and understanding of how to run these days for your clients. However, please note that in these sessions the main emphasis is on training, so you’ll still need a couple of hours back at your office to finish your own alignment plans.

About the Workshop
The purpose of an Alignment Day is primarily to ensure that the business goals are aligned with your client’s personal goals, and to gain some clarity on the key goals for both. Your clients need to get a clear picture of the goals they want to achieve in their business over the next 12-18 months. It will help move their business forward dramatically and you’ll be able to help them more effectively. Unlike the alignment questionnaire, this alternative approach gives them tangible documents to take away and there’s no report for you to write.

A major focus of the Alignment day is gathering together all the potential goals into a plan with timescales. At the end of the day, you’ll walk away with a clear schedule for the next 12-18 months, broken into quarters and months so that you know exactly what needs to be done and the confidence that you can achieve it.
All the Documents you need
We’ve created all the documents you need to run 121 or group alignments. We provide every coach attending with a shared DropBox folder containing all the documents with generic ActionCOACH branding. You can edit to add your own branding and any aspect of the content if you choose to. Note that some documents are in Adobe InDesign which will be needed to edit the content, but all are provided as pdf format as well.
- 12-18 Month Planning banners, print on special wide banner paper (local printer or from us)
- Vision-Orbit templates, print on A3 paper
- Packs of four small Post-It notes for use on the plans
- 6-steps checklist sheet, print on A3 paper
- Branded A4 notepaper booklet print A3 folded to A4 centre-stapled
- 8-page A4 alignment guides (“What to expect in your alignment” – generic branding), print A3 folded to A4 centre-stapled
We’ll also provide electronic files for a 2-page leaflet in Adobe InDesign and an editable PDF that you can use to advertise your own workshop.
Ready-printed from us
You’ll have all the electronic documents you need to print your own, but many coaches choose to order some or all of the materials from us. We’re usually cheaper than a local printer because we’re not doing this to make money, it’s a service to you. A price list for the planning banners and other materials is always in the shared folder that you’re provided on the day.
Follow-up support
For each attending coach, we’re also happy to offer a 30-minute call to discuss and help you organise and run your own workshop, then occasional ad-hoc support as and when you have questions.

Who should attend?
You, the ActionCOACH Business Coach, of course, and you can also bring an additional team member or a partner if you wish. A BDM or Marketing assistant could be appropriate so they can help you to set up and run your own event.
Each coach has their own table containing the planning documents. You’re welcome to book and bring a guest along at a small additional charge to cover the day delegate rate, to work at the same table on the same plan.
